Hazel Beatrice is a dancer, choreographer, and educator from Killbuck, Ohio. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music with a BFA in Ballet and Contemporary Performance, Hazel has performed a diverse repertoire and contributed original choreography across a wide range of artistic mediums. Her performance credits include 100 Seconds to Midnight, Echoes of Yesterday, Echos in Motion, Boom 2024, It’s not the breaths you take…, Sleeping Beauty Prologue - Fairy of Grace, Swan Lake act II - Danse des Cygnes, Beat as One, Waltz of the Flowers - Demi-Soloist, Raymonda, Giselle, Paquita, Falling Upwards, Le Bayadère, Death and the Maiden, Duende, Coppelia, and The Nutcracker.

As a choreographer, Hazel has created works for the University of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music’s Student Choreography Showcase, including How Deep is a Soul?, forgive me father for [I] have sinned, and The Ideal of Love. She has worked with Greg Eldridge at the University of Cincinnati for the graduate opera Galileo Galilei. Hazels senior capstone Dear Odette was selected to perform at De La Dance Company for DanceCincinnati24. She has choreographed The Selkie, and Giselle Act II for Holmes Center for the Arts. Additionally Hazel has choreographed and performed in several dance films including Pearls in the Tall Grass, Echoes of Yesterday, Echos in Motion, Cemeteries, and PAS DE DEUX.

In addition to her performing and choreographic endeavors, Hazel is a dedicated dance teacher. She serves as a dance instructor for Mutual Arts Center and is a Pointe Shoe fitter at Diana’s Dancewear. Hazel has also taught at Holmes Center for the Arts and Arabesque Dance Academy.

Hazel is passionate about collaboration and emotional story telling that crosses a diverse range of styles and artistic mediums.
